6920's comes standard with an H buffer. That said, I saw factory Colt 16" SOCOM models that all had H2's in them.

Older 6933's came with H buffers. Later models supposedly have H2's, but I haven't seen a factory Colt 6933 in years.

US MIL M4's are coming standard with H2 buffers.

MK18's use the H2 buffer.

What about R0635s? Standard 9mm buffer or these ABC and X buffers I see talked about but rarely see (I have an X buffer on the way from SAW)?

And if a MK18 comes with H2, what is H3 used for?

Been meaning to get out and test H2/3 buffers in my M16A2 w/MK18 upper (works great with H buffer) just to see if I can notice an obvious difference in rate of fire or recoil, because in spite of extensive reading/searching, I can't find consistent advice on how to select a proper buffer.

A colt 635 would have came with a standard 9mm two piece buffer or a one piece 9mm buffer depending on when it was made.

There is no one size fits all answer. I talk about the buffer stuff in my class and give a baseline on where to start.
