Got an email from Remington today boasting the reintroduction of the r51. Still wanna shoot one, but not itching to purchase in any capacity.

So MSRP (no one will pay that obviously) is same as a blue label Glock.

Based on initial reviews of the Gen 2 pistols they are much improved over the Gen 1. Now being made in Alabama. I would still wait a good while before looking seriously to buy. My Makarov scratches the narrow profile, no guide rod itch.
