Hey everyone,

The title of the thread is pretty self-explanatory. I am looking for a good soft case for a Sig MPX. I just got approval for my Form 1, but I am using a folding stock, so I don't need it to be too much longer than the actual MPX.

Most of what I am seeing for soft cases seem to be quite a bit bigger than I need, so I figured I would see if anyone had a recommendation.

Thanks in advance!

I'm going to bump this as I am still in the market and there haven't been any responses. Any ideas here are welcome.

It is surprisingly hard to find slim discrete cases lately. I suppose because of all the cheap bulky Chinese tacticalish crap.

Blue Force Gear used to make a great line of "DAP Discreet Cases" you may be able to find used. Maxpedition also discontinued their similar "Silver II" case but is still available on Amazon and elsewhere.

Eagle Industries makes a line of very nice discrete cases that are almost as slim as the ones above and they really started this market. http://www.eagleindustries.com/products/detail.aspx?id=37

My favorite smaller and low profile bag for years has been the MM TNT Gym Bag. Just break down your AR/MCX and it becomes easier carry and stow as well as harder to ID.

Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'm not so concerned about anything discrete, as this will primarily for home use and taking to the range. What I am concerned about is it not being too long. It is an MPX with a folding stock, so the length is only 21 inches or so. I don't need a really long case.

I forgot to mention that all the above cases come in short lengths unlike most current import-tacticool-cheap cases. Check out Eagle and the TNT bag for current manufacture options.

Have you considered the Blackhawk Discrete cases (http://www.blackhawk.com/Products/Tactical-Nylon/Cases-Mats/Cases/Discreet/Homeland-Security-Discreet-Case.aspx)? They have a 22" version that might be what you want, a 29" for SBRs, 32" for M4, 35" for AR15, etc. The outer pocket has soft-sided Velcro for customizing your own mag or accessory pouches.

There are different brands that all seem to sell nearly identical cases, so maybe they come from just a few OEMS. Impact Guns has the 22" for $68 (http://www.impactguns.com/blackhawk-discreet-weapons-case-22-inch-mp-5-black-65dc22bk-648018009556.aspx).

SERT makes one that's 24" long. I have one of their 36" rifle cases, and it's quite nice.

Updated: This is actually an older case but still pretty cool!

New Military Moron designed cases I didn't know about!?!

Thanks!

Dennis.

This Uncle Mike's case is what I just got for my MP5 and I love it, seems very well built, good protection, and plenty of mag storage. I originally found it for $20 shipped but my order was lost in the mail and by the time I tried to get it replaced they were sold out. Still available for a good price.

Wide range of premium double square cases in lengths from 16" up to 50" in numerous colors. There is a 22" that should work perfectly.
