View Full Version : Good to see California Gun Owners trying to take back their rights!

I was glad to see this article today. I hope the Californians are successful in getting the signatures they need to get this up for a general vote. Seems like they're working hard at it. If you're from California, and a gun owner you need to sign the referendum petitions, and put your support behind this.

Good luck to 'em! I'm stationed in CA, but vote in Florida, so my signature doesn't do any good here. I can't wait to PCS the hell out of here.

Good luck to them in the fight. Even if they can get the legislation on the ballot, that's a tough place to win.

If they can get it on the ballot, there's a shot. Remember when it went to a referendum vote for the whole state, the people voted to ban gay marriage. I don't think most folks expected to see that out of California. I've been stationed here a few years, and I am surprised just how conservative most of the state is once you get out of the liberal enclaves of LA and San Francisco.

I got online to donate (since I'm stationed here but not a CA resident). Their donation page (https://www.vetogunmageddon.org/donations-options/) says Paypal is witholding their donated funds until late September

That's enough to make me delete my Paypal account and tell them exactly why I'm dumping them. I'm so ****ing sick of businesses that bully people over politics.

ETA: I'm mailing them a check and a short letter of encouragement. If I can't sign, at least I can donate to the cause. It's frustrating to be affected by laws here and not be able to vote or sign petitions, but there is no way I'm becoming a resident of this state.

Thank you for posting this observation before yet another person comes along and says they hope the whole state falls into the ocean.

"We the people" in CA have been voting on this issue at every LGS all over the state for years. More guns and supplies have been bought in CA than any other state in recent years. I know I've done my part. If this gets onto a ballot, these stupid unconstitutional laws will be slapped down by the people even faster than they were signed into law by the treasonous criminals running this once great state.

I'm pushing hard for this. We'll get our signatures. We'll get our vote. We'll strike a devastating blow to these progressive communist A-holes.

A little too little, a little too late. Should have been on this shit a quarter century ago.

I was working on this a quarter century ago. I will still be working on it quarter century from now.

The problem is that I have to go to work everyday. I have a job. The job of my enemies on this issue is to screw me over. Every day when they go to "work", their "work" is to destroy my liberty. They work on their agenda all day every day and I pay them with my tax dollars to do it. I'm left with my spare time to try to fight them on it. Not a fair fight, and that's one reason why we are losing.

Good luck CA, if it's a big win, it could be precedent setting for other states as well.

I am truly sad for the good people of CA who have lost their state. I hope it is not irrevocable, but I fear it is. Liberalism/Socialism/Communism (really the same today) is a disease of the worst sort. It has infected virtually the entirety of higher education and the media. What has happened in California and the east coast will continue to spread throughout the whole of the nation if we don't eradicate it at it's source and take back classrooms and the press. The right continues to chase stalemates or short term gains while the left plays has a long term strategic perspective for domination.

Its sad that such a beautiful state has been turned to shit by the shit holes of LA and San Fran. Nor Cal is absolutely amazing. Maybe they should push that whole form a new state thing again.

Hate to say it, but the Balkanization of America might wind up being the only thing that saves from our domestic enemies. I'm convinced they are a greater threat than anything external.

Is it possible to have a referendum on separating the state in two ? Technically it would not be trying to secede, just make your own state. If most of its tax base is in the lower half, they would not be missing much.
