I have shot Geco ammo in .357 Magnum and really like it. Seems comparable to the Red Box American Eagle that I like, tho I’ve never put the .357 thru the Chrono. Recently I saw some in .223 55 Gr. FMJ for about 36 cents per round. It comes in plastic clips which I thought was cool until I found out they were too fat to fit into my StripLULA loader. I did put four five round groups thru the Chrono. Below is the average of these shots. On paper I got about 1" groups at 50 yards with a 4x scope. Seems like nice ammo and from my Chrono, on par with the black box American Eagle 5.56. Any other experiences with this ammo?

I have read on another forum that its the same ammo as norma-tac 223, I have some norma and its seems to be quality ammo, it has the same stripper clips I have not tried the geco but plan to in the future.

I pulled a round apart and found 25.4 grains of powder that look pretty much like H-335. The bullet was sealed with a black substance that I assume was loaded during the production process that is intended to be a waterproof seal. The bullet had an unusual cannalure. It was a grove around the bullet instead of the dashed cannalure found on most FMJ's. Something like this one. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/111809/lapua-bullets-22-caliber-224-diameter-55-grain-full-metal-jacket-box-of-100
The primers are also crimped.
