Normal wear on M&P9?

I'm not sure if this was here but after shooting 100rnds through my new M&P9 I noticed what looks like a chip in this peice.... is this normal?

That's your ejector. It looks normal from what I can see, but a more detailed (and sharper) photo would help.

thats about best i could do. so the ejector edge is supposed to look chipped off looking?

Yes; it's supposed to be uneven like that.

FWIW, when I try and get close-ups on small parts, I start by taking a high res picture, from about 24-30 inches away. Use you photo editor software to zoom in on the area you want. Block and then cut and paste the area you want into another photo and save that. Host away! hth!
