View Full Version : BCM Keymod Quick Detach Vertical Grip on Knights URX4 Doesn't fit?
Does anyone have experience with putting the BCM QD Keymod vert grip on the Knights Keymod URX4? I just got a brand new SR15 Mod 2, and I am trying to put the vert grip on it, but all it is doing is scratching/chewing up my rail on my brand new rifle. I unscrewed it 2 full rotations, but when I try to tighten it it just comes off the rail. I don't think it goes far enough forward in to the keypad slots. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Is the nut turned the right way? Are you trying to install it directly under the GB?

I losened the handle all the way. It seems as if the mettle parts that go in to the keymod slots are not long enough. I have completely taken the grip apart and tried to slide them in and then screw the bottom on and it still won't work.

A picture is worth a thousand words. It would be nice to see a shot of the rail where you are trying to install the grip and a shot of the engagement surfaces on the grip with the nuts fully extended.

this is the top of the grip. I have unscrewed it, and I am pushing down on the top of it to extend the length of the tabs that go in the rail. It' like the 2 metal tabs that go in to the keypad hols are not long enough. I can't really get a good shot inside the rail.

Could be the angle but those look like they could be unscrewed a bit more.
Here is a pic of one of my KM rail section. (Noveske)
