View Full Version : Colt LE6991
We just received word that Colt is doing a special run of these in October. Kind of a rare animal so if you are collector or Colt 9mm AR fan, good gun to buy.

Neat.
All that is old is new again.
I sold off my SMG gear a few years ago, wish I hadn't. I liked the SMG more than the MP5 that replaced it, might have to pick one of these up.
What magazine does it use?
Standard Colt 32rd.

had a PDS long ago that was really fun to play with , still have everything but the receiver itself, I put the upper on my CIII lower and rip and tear all day for less money....
I picked mine up today after a 7 month wait in ATF jail.

It came with two 32rd magazines, sling, cleaning rod, cleaning brush, manual and, as a nice bonus, a Lula 9mm magazine loader. One thing that's interesting about it is the right side of the upper receiver.

You can see the remains of what was the forward assist and case deflector. I'm not expert enough to be able to tell whether these areas were machined off of an A4 upper receiver or if the die (if that's the correct term) was modified from A4 to 9mm before it was forged.
