I had one of these come into the shop about two years ago and couldn't identify the manufacturer. I eventually sold it. But now I have 3 of them and would like to find out who made / makes them. It's an unusual design that's not a Molle system. the pouches slide on a track that's attached to the vest. Take a look and lets see if we can figure it out.
Thanks

Air Force survival vest that Air Movement Command had built.

Looks like a neat alternative to molle.

I'll defer to aircrew on how well it serves their needs. In other uses that vest is pretty quirky due to limited pouch options and lack of compatibility or adaptability with anything else. I've seen some functional hunting rigs made from them, as well as a sniper's lbv.

LOL. And why would you say that? Possibly stolen? As it happens, I received all three in with about 3 dozen assorted DRMO items in 2 tri-walls full of gear out of Jacksonville. Thanks for the help fellows. I better go hide those vests before the MP's show up. :)

Thus, my use of "possibly."

Just seems odd that you would choose to insert that. Do you do that with everyone looking for help in identifying odd gear? Or am I .............you know what? Never mind. Not worth the time. Thanks

Balance of our dialogue can go to PM. If anyone has anything further on the vest, fire away.

ALCON- If any doubt remains, it sounds like OP's item and acquisition is GTG.
