Anyone have any good ideas on how (if even possible) one would go about installing a QD socket onto a CAR15 stock? I'm looking at this aluminum stock (http://www.tonyscustomsllc.com/product/c-a-r-stock-aluminum/) and this base (http://www.grovtec.com/catalog/2016-new-products/non-threaded-smooth-push-button-base-gthm-234-275/).
I was thinking just using epoxy, but I wanted to see if any M4C folks had a cleaner way of doing it. I'm not opposed to going with a plastic stock if that would be more doable, but the aluminum is sort of unique and I dig it. Just looking for some brainstorms. Thanks.
P.S.
And I know some wise guy's going to tell me to just thread the sling through the slots like it was designed to be, but I don't want to, so if that's not a good enough reason for you, than you can ignore this thread :)
