just look at it !! if it does not have the "EOTech" name on it, it is NOT an "EOTech"

WTF over?

Why would someone even bother? IMO the only use for those stickers is to scam a buyer out of lots of $$$. Sad.

ETA: Good to know, thanks for the post JF.

I wonder if L-3/EOTech knows anything about this? If I were them, I would be pissed knowing that any jacka$$ could label a fake, as what would appear to most people, as the real thing.

Sorry to the OP. I did not mean to hi-jack your thread. Apparently my search fu is screwed today but if I remember right there was a thread here somewhere that talked about fake EOTechs. If I remember correctly it did say that some were not labeled correctly or at all, poor materials, etc. Basically the same as the fake Aimpoints as far as construction goes. Do you think you got taken? Pics?

+1 you would think it falls under copy right or trademark laws... EoTech ©™

I find it comical that ebay will get spun up over benign weapons parts, but will allow all sorts of copyright and patent infringment to happen with these EOTechs, ACOGs, Aimpoints, etc....

I looked at some Aimpoint M3’s that a bud had he knew they were clones the serial numbers where the same. Other than that they were identical to his real one,

All you have to do is look at the glass and turn the optic on.

The second you turn it on it will become apparent that its a clone.

The reticles on the clones are a freakin JOKE.

You can also just try the "toss it across the range" trick like on downrange.tv
