Hey guys I've got a real simple one for you. What is your every day carry gun? Not what rides in your truck all the time or what sits next to your bed, what is the gun the sits on your hip every day?
right now a g.26, about 90% of the time. now that it's starting to get cooler i'll switch back to my g.19.

I dont carry everyday but when I do I carry either my XD9 OWB or a Kahr PM9 IWB.
On Duty Now: Glock 21 backed up by a Glock 27
On Duty One Month From Now: Kimber Custom Classic (Series I) backed up by Glock 27 (will be Colt Defender in future)
Off-Duty: S&W 442
S&W 642 in a Mika pocket holster and XDsc9 or .40 occasionally in a crossbreed supertuck.
G19 or G26, depending...
IF I ever get my approval letter in the mail, that is.

Walther PPS and/or SIG P250C
in Winter I sometimes I just want a full size service pistol and instead of the P250, i will carry a P226 ...either a W.German 9mm or a Exeter .40
but more often than not i just have the Walther PPS. its suitable for deep cover, pocket carry or on the hip in a IWB holster. will work in an ankle holster too, which makes it a nice little back-up gun when you want a bigger primary.
A Colt Gunsite 1911, Glock 23, or S&W Model 65, depending on time of year and mood. Yes I qualify on a regular basis with each.
I carry my Kimber Tactical Ultra II in a Sparks VM2 sharky on a Wilson Sharky belt w/a Wilson sharky double mag carrier loaded w/Winchester 230gr SXT.
I've never carried a Glock and I never will.
On-Duty: Sig 229/.40
Off-Duty: Glock 19

when i travel outside of cali durring winter i carry a full size wilson cqb and a sig p228 durring summer.
Glock 32 and Glock 33 .357SIG.
Sig Sauer P229R .357SIG with SureFire X200 and LaserMax on nightstand. All loaded with Speer Gold Dot 125 Grain JHP.
Smith & Wesson Model 60 .38 Special stainless 2 inch in right front pocket loaded with Speer Gold Dot 135 Grain Short Barrel load.
90% of the time a Glock 26 now that I'm living in the South. An extra G19 mag and Surefire G2 handy complete the "carry" package. My G19 would be next and my Colt OM coming in third. My Series 70 Gov't NEVER leaves the safe anymore:o.
Ruger LCP .380 in a Desantis Nemisis pocket holserter, right front pocket, all pants/shorts.
XD40, 165gr Federal HST. Will probably switch to an XDM 9mm with Ranger RA9TA (+P+) when available and the CFO (wife) approves it.
I usually carry my Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special. But most of this summer I have been carrying a Glock 19.

At work either a Glock 23 or 22, Colt M16a1, Rem 870 plain jane.
At the other job a Glock 21sf, Colt M4 or MP5.
Off duty, almost always a Glock 23 in my Kramer horsehide IWB holster. (I have been using the Kramer for almost 14 years. It still stays open when I draw my pistol............awesome kit!!!!!!!!)
I have been thinking about switching to a Glock 30 for the chicks dig it .45 factor. After all the reason you carry a .45 is cause they don't make a .46!!:D

Most other times a Glock 20 loaded with DT 165 Gold Dots at 1400fps.
Work Sig P220 and SP-101 with SXT and Federal Hi-Shok
Off duty P220 or 228
When its hot- Smith & Wesson airweight, Desantis IWB, +p's
When its not- Kimber custom 5" or Dan Wesson CBOB, Desantis speed scarab
Depending on temperature, either a SIG P220 or P228, a Kahr K9, or if I'm just walking the dog or mowing the lawn, a Kel-Tec P32.

Most of the time it is my Dan Wesson Bobtail Classic-45ACP in a Milt Sparks or Rafter S holster. Kahr E9 when I have to go small in a holster by me.
Carry a 5" Wilson Combat CQB in .45 ACP.
Currently, this is my only carry pistol.

Depending on the weather and the clothes I am wearing, a Kahr P40 or a S&W 442 with CTC Lasergrips. If any of my pistols needed a laser, that 442 did. Lasers own the night, and the 442 can be more than just a bellygun.
Federal 180 gr. HST in the .40, and Federal 126 gr HST .38 Spl. (non +P).
I always have my EDC CRKT M16 folder, a SF E2D LED and a reload -- no matter which pistol is coming for the ride.
Fairly light EDC package, and most everything one needs except food and water...;)

Back-up - Glock 27, S&W 642-1, or Seecamp LWS32 (usually)
Personal:
Glock 27, S&W 642-1 (usually), S&W 640-1, or Seecamp LWS32
Commander seized 1911, 230gr HST in a Milt Sparks Versa Max II.
But for just around the house i.e. mowing the lawn a .357 snub.
Usually Glock 17 w/ Bowie G19 grip cut. Have just switched to Colt 1911. SSII's for both on a Milt Sparks belt.

5" SA 1911 Loaded totally rebuilt by me. All the guts are new non-MIM parts. The only thing original is the frame, slide, front siight, and grip safety. Here's a pic.

Used to be a Glock 19.
Issued a M&P9 almost 3 years ago. I like it so much that I carry it off duty as well. Bought a M&P9c, carry it some. But I can conceal the full sized almost as well, so...

It depends on what the weather is like...but either:
S&W 442 on left ankle
Sig 239 (worked over by Gray Guns) at 2 o'clock
Sig 229 at 4 o'clock
I just picked up an XD9 so I will try that out as well and I have a Glock 30 SF on the way...and yes I plan on getting a fullsize M&P45 when the funds allow. I haven't really decided on my primary CCW gun but I usually carry the 239 the most, so I guess that would be my primary with the 442 as my BU. :cool:

Im also about to start carrying a G21 in a hoffners hybrid holster, pics coming soon. never thought i would be able to conceal a G21 but its actually comfortable. Bought the G21 last thursday and havent tested out the reliability of the used G21 yet.

1911 series 70 ( appeared in a number of OIS shootings)
HK p7M8 (carry)
G19 (my kids angling for this one)
HK45 (upgrading the carry- better round)
Winchester1300 :D (during full moon)
