Up/down mag play

Just put together a new lower, and I noticed unloaded mags have a bit more up/down play than in other lowers. I think the mag catch slot is a hair wider than the others. Anyone know the specs for this slot? If it functions fine, is it most likely not an issue?

Does the mag catch have vertical play in the lower receiver cut? Have you tried a different mag catch in case the shelf on the subject one is lower?

Yes, it has a bit of play up/down.

Try one of your other mag catches in the lower to compare. Really not an issue if it functions well with decent magazines.
