Anybody know where I can pickup a gas tube roll pin without spending more in shipping than the cost of a $.50 roll pin?

Stop at a hardware store or a local mechanic. If you know any farmers, they'll definitely have some.

Gas tube roll pin dimensions: 5/64" wide x 5/16" long
Don't worry if you get one too long, you can always trim it down with a dremel.

I find a lot of same grade items in bulk for pennies on the AR dollar. Most bulk item packs supply enough of a part to last 300 lifetimes or supply the entire population of California and New Jersey.
