SOPMOD Front Sight Question

For the experts out there on the SOPMOD Block II, I remember at bat that most of us didn't even have the front sights or even the rear sights, but since I'm out now and wanting to build a clone, is the taupe correct over the black front folding sight...as I recall some guys had the black ones in bat and the taupe...I only ask because on some forums people are saying that the taupe is the only correct one...just looking for feedback from you guys...Thanks a head of time for the input

We pretty much never use iron sights on our guns but the ones that I have seen have all been black.

Don't sweat the color, both are issued. Just make sure you have P/N 99051. Or, as stated above, no iron sight.
