Stupid question that I can't find an answer to on the search via my phone.

Do I have to use the atf provided cards or can I hand write the atf info on the box on any card?

Doesn't matter. Just need the correct ORI.

But the cards are free and usually arrive within a week, so just stock up on some.

Thanks for the quick response.

My father has some FBI cards from the airport police with a blank ORI so he could use that. He can hand write the proper ori info.

Thanks again.

So I've got the cards, who is a good source for the ink etc to roll your own prints?

Qucik google search shows Office Max, Staples and Amazon as the top three hits for "finger printing ink pads". I cannot vouch for the quality of those sources, though. My prints were done professionally.

Yep. Nothing new. I did a little bit of a how-to in the 41F sticky: here (https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?186089-Work-In-Progress-new-F1-F4-guide-for-41F-submissions&p=2345177#post2345177) it is...
