Starting with an 80% lower, I'm building what I intend to be a pistol that could turn into an SBR in the future (either a 10.5 or 11.5", haven't decided yet). That said, I was looking at the VLTOR A5 Pistol Buffer tube. Here is where my ignorance comes in. Other than not being able to attach a rifle stock to a pistol tube, I am unaware of the differences. I have already purchased a Springco Green spring and a A5H0 buffer for the BCM A5 buffer system (before I planned to start with a pistol). Can these two be used in a VLTOR A5 pistol tube still? I'm thinking I may go ahead and pick up a A5H2 buffer as well. Will a KAK Shockwave brace work with the VLTOR A5 pistol tube? I asked VLTOR and they weren't exactly sure, somehow.

I'll also be using the new Faxon skeletonized bolt carrier, if that makes any difference to input.

Why the lightweight BCG if I may ask ? That coupled with a H0 buffer seems pretty light for a carbine length gas system. Personally I find an H2 to be the least I like to run in AR pistols, but that is also coupled with a full weight carrier.

I had originally planned to go with a 13.7 middy, so that's what I started buying parts for. I was thinking I should probably pick up an A5H2 buffer and start there now that I've decided on a carbine length pistol, leaning 11.5". Maybe even an A5H3?
