I had to shorten my Rem 700 stock because of my T-rex arms. The result is that I am now as far out on my scope base (leupold 20 MOA 1 piece) as I can go and still have to crane my neck rear-ward because I need to mount the scope further forward. Are there any non-gunsmith type base that have some extra real estate forward? any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I have a 20 MOA EGW scope base on my Savage. It has served me well since I installed it. EGW offers extended bases for Remingtons.

Seekins Precision makes good bases as well.

There are a number of extended cantilever rails with 20, 30, or 45 MOA built-in for long-range shooting.

Which manufacturer did you use? How many slots does it have? The average seems to be 15-16. I'm looking for that 17 plus area.

What DBM system are you using?
Not my rig in the photo above.
I use Nightforce, Badger, and Murphy Precision. I've also owned Near Precision.
For bottom metal my last bolt 308 uses a TacRifles set (for AI magazines).
