Is $1249 too much to pay right now for one of these new? Colt shows them at $1099 on their website, but I'm guessing I've stumbled into a supply and demand situation again.

I understand market economics so I'll belly up if that's what it takes; I've paid worse premiums. Just don't want to take more gas than I have to.

G&R shows them out of stock, but to be honest I'm pretty much set on a Colt.

Personally, with the looming threat of a Klinton presidency gone, I think prices will drop on many items. I am definitely not paying a premium on anything at this juncture. Our country is like a pendulum. Many (certainly not all) of the gun purveyors demanded inflated prices during the Obama regime, and subsequent election period. Now, the threat is pushed away for a time. Shoe is on other foot. YMMV.

Just be patient, I paid $945 out the door from my local gun store this past summer.
