I have a LMT 16" carbine, and the other day when I went to the range the charging handle came apart. Not sure what the deal was, but it looks like the roll pin failed. The inside of the charging handle is all eaten out were to roll pin was supposed to go through the handle. All the parts shot away never to be found again. Anyone else ave this sort of failure? I find it strange from the LMT name.

Did you buy it directly from LMT?

it would have had to have been a CWS for it to come with a CH

some dealers sell LMT uppers with charging handles and handguards. it might be a complete weapon, but not necessarily so...lets wait to see what the OP has to say.

I got the complete upper from Rainier, and they've been great to work with! Don't think it was even 24 hours before another one was in the mail!

I had my M16A1 charging handle do the same thing about 2 years ago. Granted my rifle is quite old but looks like it was never used. Anything man made can break at anytime. David
