How to install an AGB on a bbl. with taper pin holes

I'm trying to decide between going with a SLR Sentry gas block or installing a BRT custom tune port on my duty Colt 6933. This gun is going to be used suppressed most of the time but I need it to run unsuppressed as well.

My question is how big of PITA it is to install a set screw gas block on a barrel that has taper pin slots cut in it. Is it fairly easy to get the right alignment and then just dimple the barrel? I've installed a few low pro gas blocks but they have always been on barrels that were pre dimpled...

With the key word be duty and the fact that you have to ask the question I would recommend you have your agency armorer install it.

Thanks for the advice, that would be what I would do either way, it's just that I didn't want to buy the SLR AGB before I knew that it would work on a bbl. that had taper pin slots in it already.
