One man's FUBAR is another man's gain.
This barrel was part of an upper deal I got in a trade. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it, before a few things went wrong. The barrel had about 100 rounds fired through it. A local gunsmith attempted to remove the pinned muzzle device and cut into the threads when he removed the pin. It will still accept a muzzle device with no issues, but it most likely is not pinnable.
The set screws for the gas block were stripped out and the gas block was cut off. During the process the barrel was hit with the cutting wheel. It didn't "damage" the barrel in a true sense and would be covered up by the gas block.
That all said, the price is a helluva deal for someone that needs a good barrel for a project and/or has an SBR.
