Title sums it up. I'm currently using a Caldwell picatinny brass catcher and I love it, but it won't fit with a LPV and MBUS sights as far as I can tell. Anyone know of a product that would catch brass on a scoped AR? I suppose it doesn't have to be picatinny as long as it mounts to the rifle. The only thing I can think of is the Caldwell model with Velcro, and that one gets mixed reviews.

Caldwell makes another that attaches to the handguard:

That's the one that seems to get mixed reviews. I might have to go with that model if there isn't anything else, but what I'd really like is something that can attach to the rail via picatinny and extend back to the ejection port. The Caldwell picatinny model attaches to the upper receiver, which is fine with sights or a micro red dot, but won't work with a LPV.

Is this for aerial gunnery or just recovering brass?

The Caldwell model works OK but it shifts around. It is also prone to inducing malfunctions if malpositioned. There are other bolt on heavy duty catchers, but I can't remember the brand now.

I handload, and I don't want to chase brass at the range. I really like the brass catcher I'm using now, but I can't figure out a way to extend its reach so that I could mount it to the rail rather than the upper receiver.

I have no experience with this brass catcher, but it meets your requirements.

Dang, that's badass. If I was going to go with one - that would be it.

I have this brass catcher. It causes malfunctions pretty regularly; the opening isn't big enough. Price is right though and I suffer through it depending on the range.

OP, do you have ANY room on the receiver in front of the scope mount? This is my setup with a 3BUCC and a Bobro mount. I shaved the mounting block a little for clearance. It works well, although the bag seems to keep the gas hovering around your nose longer than with a vented bag
