OK, so I finally picked up a Ruger LCP. I stripped, cleaned and inspected last night, and have to say I'm kind of impressed with the design of this little thing. The trigger is surprisingly smooth and light. Only thing I detested were the non-existent sights, but they will be an advantage for pocket carry. Can't wait to try it out, although I doubt I'll shoot it a lot.

One thing I noticed right away was the need for a grip extension. Also, mags are expensive. The best price on mags I found was at CheaperThanDirt ($18.75). I also bought two of the Kel-Tec P3AT grip extensions at CheaperThanDirt; a lot of people have put them on their LCP mags, and supposedly they work great though they do leave a small, 1mm gap. But they'll do until Ruger releases some of their own; with my big mitts, I need a little more to hang onto.

BTW, what are you LCP owners doing for holsters? The two options I'm looking at right now are either something in the pocket, or IWB. I saw that Desantis has the former Nemesis, and now an improved version the "Super Fly (http://www.desantisholster.com/m44.html)", both of which are supposed to stick in your pocket nicely. I also saw that High Noon Holsters has a "Pocket Grabber (http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Product_Line/Belt_Holsters/Inside_The_Waistband/Magazine_Carriers/Pocket_Holsters/pocket_holsters.html)" (also a version with a mag holder) that looks like it might be good.
