Damn, and I just got my RRA complete upper.
Out of curiosity, what's a complete upper run with one of these barrels with a set of standard handguards? Also, is it 10" exact or 10.5"?

That looks great. I am very much interested in one of them. Is that a regular stocked item for you Grant?
-is this the $269 suprise that you were talking with your lawyers about?

You cannot use standard HG's are there is no FSB to secure the HG cap.

It is turned for a .625" FSB. You could pin one one with a handguard cap? Right?

Availability?
Grant is running some T&E barrels to give us some feedback.
Lots of stuff in production and lots of new projects at BCM.
As soon as they are ready to go Grant will have lots in his inventory.
Thanks!

Cool! It initially sounded like these were a limited run! Any thoughts on a shorter length? I've been toying with the idea of building an HK MP5SD-like AR. I'd love to use BCM if I could!

Yes, as of right now - they will only be a limited run. (no other lengths planned right now)
Thanks!

I think that these are great looking. I am wanting to build a copy of a Colt 634/635 that have a 10.5" barrel length, other than that it looks like what I want.
Grant
Are the barrels available yet?
Thanks.

Out of curiosity can you use a standard AR lower with a 9mm build? Will the 9mm mags work with a standard AR lower?

I would like to have this barrel setup for use on the LMT MRP platform but don't know if this would be possible to build. But if built probably lots of buyers.

Yes, but you'll need a mag block of some kind. Which would depend on which 9mm system you're going with; Colt/RRA-style or Oly-style.
I'm in the process of putting together a 9mm consisting of an RRA upper, Colt match target barrel, ramped RRA bolt and a mag block that uses unmodified Uzi mags.

Yes, they are available, but only as builds (and you must use either a DD M4 rail or a LT rail).

Standard lower is yes, but you must have a mag conversion system.

RRA is one of them.

CP came out with a 9mm mag block for $80 i think.

That is very nice Grant. If I was building just an SBR instead of a suppressed one, I would be all over that. It is very tempting though. :)

So, since these uppers come with a RRA BCG, it doesn't need a 9mm hammer? Basically you would just need a RRA mag block, and one of these uppers and you would be in business?

Really depends on the hammer you have. Some work, some do not.
C4
If you run it as is, you need the 9mm hammer. Have it ramped and you can use any hammer except the semi 9mm hammer.

We do not use LMT hammers with our LPK's (FYI) and the answer is no (you will need a 9mm hammer).

It was my understanding that the RRA carrier is ramped.

RRA's 9mm carriers do not come ramped from the factory. You need to either do it yourself, or send it out to be done.
With a ramped carrier, you can use any hammer you want, except a 9mm hammer. A hammer with no notch, like the DPMS, will run smoother.

I see. I am fairly handy with a file, any good link on a how-to to ramp it? Or any suggestions on who to send it to?
ETA: OK searched it out a little more, look like sending it in is the best way to go...

Where can I get one of these barrels cut? Or is there any chance of a shorter one from Bravo?
