$1700.00 ? Surely this is just the M.A.P, or something.

are you looking to pick up a Colt 6920? They are 1225.00 here, http://code4lesales.com/listman/listings/l0005.php
on the price for impactguns, that could be their set price, I have contacted other vendors before about their colt 6920 pricing and some have asked for higher, espically with the shortages...i wouldnt pay more then 1300 for a 6920
More than likely that is MSRP on it.
You'll never sell one for that, but it doesn't keep them from trying.

I bought one Friday for $1230. I'm just surprised that most people on the web are asking $1400, and these guys are asking $1700. I read it a couple of times because I thought I was looking at the wrong gun or price.
I wonder if they sell m/any at that price...

6920s for $1150.00 at Dallas show today.
I saw one at their storefront here in boise for 1,6xx last year. I though they were crazy, but it isn't there anymore. Their prices on most things are realistic. $499 for NIB glocks, etc.

lol, saw this last week. Now I'm leery of buying anything from there...
I picked up my 6920 for $1300. Not the best deal out there but far from the worst. I couldn't be happier with it.:)

might be a stupid question, but you'll see that it won't be my first and only one...
does "Colt LE6920 M4 Law Enforcement Carbine" mean you have to be a LEO to purchase one?

no, Colt calles it a law enforcement carbine but its not restricted to LEO only, its available to be purchased by civilians

Technically, police are civilians too (except for MPs, of course). Individual officers generally can't purchase any weapon the rest of us can't, post-86 machineguns for example have to be bought by the department for issue to the individual. That's federal law, though; some states/cities with more restrictive laws allow LE personnel to personally own things that are restricted by local law.
thanks for the info. i'll be making a purchase soon.

Will they even let you buy an AR in Canada? The socialist government isn't very friendly to gun owners. I feel for you because you are close neighbors to us here in WA.
what are the chances of getting a 6920 around the same price with an 14.5" barrel?

If I could find an M203 I can own that too! - it's deemed to be a non-restricted firearm up here. Just need the basic firearms licence.....no HE stuff though....just markers and practice rounds.

Indeed - Canadians CAN own AR's... the only bad thing is we need to shoot them on 'approved ranges' only - no back-40 or back yard blasting.
Plus neutered 5-round mags... argh..

Zero - because it wouldn't be a 6920 - it'd be a 6921. :D
canucklehead - Hello there matey!
If I had the patience, I would love to do up a comparison chart of what's allowed in each of our countries.
