I thought that the US Government was done buying M16's and going with the M4A1 exclusively. Presumably this is for FMS purposes?:

Are they now giving support personnel M4s over M16s?

I bet there are still a lot of M16A2s out there being issued to Reserve guys.

Just messaged my buddy that is a comms guy in the Reserves and was just on his weekend. He said guys are still rocking A2s.
