In the following video is that a man made demo or nature?

Scroll to the 30 second mark and when they start falling, I noticed some bright lights thinking maybe demo charges.

I was a 1345 not a 1371, but that is called an 'abatis.'

Those trees feel to the right so a charge was placed on the right side of the tree (intended direction of fall) about 4-5 feet up. Topple the trees on one side of the road, then the other, that way the trees don't deflect or catch each other.

not a combat anything, but seems like the hillside was giving way due to the soil becoming saturated with rain. I think those trees fell naturally.

Abatis is best done in a way where the trees create an overlapping XXXXXXX pattern, this makes it difficult to clear or go over or around. The stumps should be list high enough to "high center" any vehicle trying to go over them. 4 to 6 feet would be optimum.
That used to be a SQT Test question.
That looked like the soil gave way.

This was on Fox News. It was in fact a mud slide.
