Will DD Omega loosen a bbl nut?

I have a LMT with a KAC RAS, if prices and availability hold I may get a 6920 this Feb/March. I would like to add an Omega to one of these carbines. Since it mounts to the barrel nut is there any possibility of it loosening the nut? Any other thoughts or suggestions are welcomed.

yes its possible, the Omega will work like a wrench on the barrel nut, but you'd really have to be trying to torque it off

even under extreme circumstances its not likely to happen

If the barrel nut is torqued/timed properly, it should be very difficult to get the barrel nut to move via the Omega. You would also have to shear your gas tube to move it.
