View Full Version : Anybody have experience with CMMG's new two stage FCG?

They're fairly new, and in the same price range as the Geissele SSA and the LMT two stage. I have one SSA, and it's really, really wonderful and, unfortunately, really, really hard to get.

Any user feedback on the CMMG yet? I realize it's much to soon to expect any empirical data on durability.

I've just started using one of the CMMG 2 stage triggers. Its nice, but I don't have enough time with it to say much more than that.

FWIW: There's a guy on CalGuns.net whose new CMMG 2-stage trigger malfunctioned. He tested it, and it seemed prone to doubling. They promptly replaced it, and he now has one that works.

Anyone else have experiences with these? I bought one as a spare, in case my RRA 2-stage blew up (as a result of my spikes 22 upper, or just from use)... but now I am wondering if I'd be better off preventatively upgrading to a gisselle trigger...

I'd hate for the replacement/backup to the RRA to have similar issues, if I need to install it one day, thanks!
