Any info on SIG 716 DMR Gen2 rifles?

Not seeing much online about these. Are they in the wild? Anyone have any experience with them?

Some guys at SigForum have them, but honestly SIG ARs don't seem to be bought by many who shoot them often or stretch them out very much.

I know 3 guys who have 716s (for 4 years now), and only one has shot it a handful of times - total <500 rds. The other two haven't.

I have one. Got it about 5 months ago. Had an opportunity to use a friends employee, 50% off discount. The rail was misaligned in relation to the barrel. Got it fixed at the custom shop. No biggie since the Sig Pro Shop is about 2 miles away. Over all its been accurate and reliable. The design and quality seem solid. The Sig match trigger didn't have a very good two stage feel. I replaced it with a Geissele. For the money I spent, I couldn't go wrong. Not a fan of the recoil impulse/feel. Would prefer a DI/AR 10 variant. The piston design is probably preferable for suppressor use though.
