.38 Special vs. Prince Rupert's drop

In a previous thread I linked to a video of the Smarter Every Day YouTube channel shooting a .22LR at a Prince Rupert's Drop. There is a great descriptive video of what the drop itself is and why it works the way it does. Check that out first (and the 22LR video) before you watch this if you haven't seen it.

Finally!!! That is totally insane! I was wondering if he would ever up the caliber from 22LR.

It shattered the bullet but more surprisingly didn't shatter the drop from the tail vibrating it to pieces. How freaking hard are those things!?

Guy puts a drop in a hydraulic press and gets to almost 20 tons before it breaks. It actually dented the press tool.
