Magpul is getting into the inexpensive bolt game. But if it puts them at 700$ guns is it worth it?

Looks like a 6.5 creedmoor (or 6mm) American predator will be in my future. Put a 6x SWFA SS scope and you'll have a pretty awesome setup (or maybe a Vortex Diamondback Tactical for a cheaper option).

This would come out after I sold my American in .308.

The Ruger American has an alright action and barrel. It's biggest downfall were the awful magazines. This should solve that nicely.

We already have an existing thread on this: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?196055-Coming-Late-2017-Hunter-American-Stock-Ruger%AE-American-Short-Action

Dozer does a very good job of keeping M4C in the loop. Let's keep everything in that thread. Thanks.

Personally, I think the Ruger 300 BLK with the threaded barrel in a Magpul stock would be a lot of fun with the right can. Quite an interesting deer or hog gun, in capable hands.

I have one of the Magpul stocks on a Remington 700 short action and love it.
