Bob Owens of Bearing Arms, RIP

Bob Owens, editor of the popular pro-gun blog BearingArms.com, died Monday in what authorities have ruled a suicide.

Officials say Owens shot himself in the head near his North Carolina home. He was found around 11 a.m. near a stop sign outside his subdivision in Fuquay-Varina, N.C., a town southwest of Raleigh. A gun was located nearby, according to the Fuquay-Varina Police Department.

I found his writing and editorials often made me consider a different point of view. I hopes he rest in peace and his wife and two children can find strength at this most difficult time. RIP Mr. Owens.

Never heard of him or his site but that is sad.

I always say if you're willing to kill yourself when you ostensibly have a decent life then you should be willing to do something different.

Most people dont want to die as much as they want their life, as they know it, to end.

Change life, get a divorce, pick a fight, raw dog with ugly chicks. Do something.

Pills and baby talk never help. And sadly some dipshit will say "See, guns cause suicide!"
