Just wanted to post the upcoming S.U.S.R. - Specialized Urban Survival Readiness class (S.H.T.F.) being hosted for the first time in St Augustine, FL.
This will be an intense class but will cover a lot of need to know facts of surviving in an Urban environment including shooting and security drills while learning survival skills. We will have guest instructors at this class teaching different portions of the curriculum.
Course contents:
Basic shelter constructions
Fire making techniques
Basic land navigation (map and compass reading, G.P.S.'s welcome)
Basic first aid techniques
Providing security for your family
Construction of basic weapons / hunting tools
Hunting for food / cooking it - no real animals will be killed in this portion.
Purifying water
Team building and leadership exercises
Endurance scenarios / testing
Night movement exercises / testing
Realistic scenario challenges and testing
Shooting drills and scenarios
Bonus lecture / challenge
