View Full Version : S&B Short Dot & KAC PVS 30 recorded with TPL Eagle Eye
I'm still working on figuring out the gopro settings to get the best video, especially with the PVS 30, but so far the Torrey Pines Logic Eagle Eye is pretty sweet. Of course the PVS 30 is 10x's better to the eye. I'm using a LA-5 illuminator and shooting at a piece of reflective tape at 100 yards. The day video is at 100 yards.

This should give you an idea of how the Short Dot looks in use. I have several other scopes including a S&B Ultra Short I'll be posting up with and without the PVS-30 to show as well.
Sweet videos and cool range setup! I'm looking forward to purchasing my first S&B scope soon for my new Larue FDE 7.62. Haven't decided on reticle yet, but the new LRR-MIL interests me.
What I have found using the PVS30 is semi counter-intuitive. I like it best with the gain almost bottomed out (lower 1/4) even in very dark conditions, the images are better this way, even with 20X mag on my PMII5-25, my 1.5-8 doesn't even begin to tax the PVS30 and my Mk6 3-18 runs great with it, even without added illum.
