A sneak peak at a new Star Trek series; Discovery. To me, feels like a reboot of Star Trek Voyager, and that show really sucked. I could even watch Deep Space 9 just because it was Star Trek related, but could not get through an episode of Voyager. I'll check out this new show cuz it's Star Trek but expectations are low. Visually it looks beautiful and so is the lady captain (Sonequa Martin) who I could watch all day... ;)

They do a pretty good job on This for being all CGI and low budget. The guy that plays Kirk absolutely nails the Shatner performance. I wish they'd make more. My fear is Paramount takes them down on a copyright case.

The original lineage will always be the best story line. The next generation was barely bearable, and voyager was just dumb. It has a few good episodes, but just a few.

Two thumbs up to the "Continues" effort.

The guy that plays Kirk was on Coast to Coast AM one night, and he explained that they already had the copyright confrontation. Basically, they can continue to produce episodes as long as they don't make a profit from it. They do take donations though. I'm thinking of giving some small amount later this year.

I was in for this because it was originally stated that it would be in the prime universe and not the Kelvin universe, then I saw the Klingons, Which took the gas out of this for me.

I was glad to see the ship speeding through space in what appears to be a warp bubble and not a transwarp conduit like in Star Trek in to Darkness.

PS I love all the series, Voyager included (minus Neelix).

Edit. I forgot about Archers Enterprise...that show should've never seen the light of day.

Other than Jeri below, minus everyone on that show, Neelix especially. Even Jeri couldn't get me passed Neelix, Janeway, etc and the lame plots, etc.
