Looks like this vehicle will be with us for a while. Don't know much about Brads but I think they look cool :D

Having previously crewed that particular machine a better engine would be a significant improvement as it was underpowered compared to its bigger brother the Abrams. Anything that improves speed, lethality and survivability is a good thing. I found myself at first wanting to point out all of its flaws, but then realized, I still like the machine, despite the numerous bites, nicks and head knockings. Its a shame I'll be retired by the time these things are fielded.

Its better than what it replaced, the M113, in many areas. The original configuration left a lot to be desired in the internal configuration of the dismount area though. My guess is that while they are undertaking this upgrade process, they wind up designing an entirely new vehicle.
