Mil-specific Duramax that burns anything and a killer suspension, but apparently the Oshkosh JLTV has "too much armor" to allow civilian sales. *Sigh*

They could probably sell a civilian version with a cloth top and cloth style doors. Course then you might as well get a Wrangler Rubicon or whatever.

The reason Oshkosh earned the contract is simple, says Oshkosh vice president and and general manager of defense programs, Dave Diersen. “We don’t make pianos,” he said. “We know what it takes to make a severe duty, tactical wheeled vehicle and make it last.”

I like the way Dave thinks...

How can too much armor be illegal? You can buy tanks, right? $250,000 is going to make it a not-to-common.
