Been out of the game for a bit with wife and college and buying a house. Needed a rifle to hunt with ant to knock down anything bad coming in the yard. I have 40 acres behind me that is mine and I am out of city limits. All kinds of critters.

She shoots fine. Haven't put it on a bench yet to check grouping, but function is fine. I have another build going on for an M4gery, so once that's completed, I'll be moving into a "higher tier" build for a battle rifle, using better parts and such, involving a BCM KMR and BA 18" Hanson.

For now, this is what I needed.

Upper:
Spinta Precision Receiver
Spinta Precision BCG
Spinta Precision 16" 223 wylde light middy 1:8
Standard Charging Handle, ejection port cover and forward assist
12" Slim Keymod
Phantom Flash Hider

Lower:
Anderson Stripped Lower
Mil spec receiver extension, buffer and spring
"Mil spec" parts kit

Optics:
Vortex Crossfire ii 2-7x35
Burris PEPR

Is that a VISM keymod handguard?

Probably. Wasn't sure if I cared for a keymod rifle or not. Used to only have m4ish rifles. Got out of guns for a bit and tossed one together. Cheaply. It's got me back shooting. Im pulling the trigger on some decent parts this weekend for another build.

I don't believe in "just as good" parts anymore. But to dial in, and plug one or two at Bambi this season, I am ok with the build. It'll be just fine until I have built "the rifle"

Looks real good and functional, I'm partial to keymod and haven't seen this mount actually on a rifle. I like it!
