Are these Cerakoted at the Glock factory or does Lipsey's have this done by a third-party?

The slides are done by a third party the grip frame is solid FDE Polymer by Glock.

For those of you that have one (or more) of the Lipsey's full FDE guns, do they do a pretty good job of matching the Ceracote slide to the frame color? I seem to recall reading mixed reviews of the color in the past. I'm considering one of their Gen 3 full FDE pistols from a few years back, if it makes any difference. Thanks!

While I don't own one, my LGS gets a bunch of the lipsey's guns and all of them that I have seen and finger banged have matched. Both FDE and the Gray color they do.

I wish lipsey's would do a stainless style cerakoted slide.

I have one of the all-FDE gen4 G19s. Slide and frame are cerakoted and color matched. After one month and 1000 rounds of honest use, underlying polymer color is apparent along with typical holster wear to the slide. Ameriglo Hackathorn sights on the gun. Pics:

Here are some additional threads discussing those Glocks from Lipsey's.

Lipsey's is doing another run of FDE Glocks.

Interesting. I thought the frame was made from FDE plastic and not a surface coat.

Yeah, from everything I've seen an heard, the Gen 3 full FDE pistols at least were molded FDE frames with Ceracoted slides to match. I noticed one of those threads (thanks for the links!) mentioned the Gen 4s being done in a lighter tan in a recent run, so that could explain the full Ceracote job.

I appreciate the feedback! I have an FDE TLR-1 HL waiting for a pistol to match.

I have a GEN 4 that is FDE polymer frame and cerakoted slide from Lipsey's -
Easiest way to tell is if the serial plate is painted, if it is the frame is cerakoted.
Another way, if the backstraps don't match the frame (they'll be black) - frame is painted.
It seems like they released a few variations of "FDE" -
So there are some out there that do have painted frames as well.
