Decided I don't care. Will stick with DI until I die.

The last guns I will own will be DI Colt AR's and Colt 1911's.

Why the epiphany? Did you witness a catastrophic piston gun failure or something?

Me, I appreciate not having to clean the gas system on an AR. It was really that simple. I got tired of cleaning carbon out of AK and SKS gas tubes, and when I learned you don't need to clean the inside of that long skinny AR gas tube my ears perked up and I began to be interested in the system.

Correct gassing and quality parts are everything. I wouldn't take a piston gun for free.

I'd take a 416 for free. Then turn around and sell it for an awesome profit. :)

Glad you cleared that up.

Why is this topic like f'ing Groundhog Day around here?

I can't keep track of the DI v piston threads here lately.

An object, that moves in a linear motion, within a cylinder, is called a ............. piston.

I'm all for open discussion between piston and DI, but, why?

I thought we were above the Trollolol factor on M4C in our "Technical Forum".

Just saying...

seriously, now you have me curious about what your original question was.I believe it was a question about if the LMT piston system was as reliable was the H&K piston system, since the latter is commonly cited as being the only op rod piston driven AR that "got it right".

Also, how did I know MistWolf was going to do the stupid piston pedant thing?

Anymore, it is just downright amusing to read these endless arguments about DI v. Piston, etc.
