I am offering a rare pre-ban Knights SR-25 Standard for sale. The SR-25 Standard used the same Remington 5R barrel as the SR-25 Match, but the barrel for the Standard was turned down on a lathe to match the AR-15 profile. This made the Standard more expensive to produce than the Match and it only weighs 8.6 pounds. I was told there were only 130 of these made with the original Stoner flash hider.
I purchased this rifle direct from Knight’s about 24 years ago (pre September 1994) and fired approximately 300 rounds of Federal 168 gr Gold Medal Match through it. I have not fired the rifle in 10 years and it is in excellent condition. The rifle comes with:
• Knight’s factory installed 3.5 pound Milazzo-Kreiger two stage trigger.
• 2 pre-ban waffle magazines.
• Optional shell deflector.
• Factory modified carry handle for the shell deflector.
• Knight’s 30mm steel scope rings.
• GG&G Scout rail modified for the shell deflector.
• User’s manual.
• Original hard case that the rifle shipped in from Knight’s.
Currently there is a Badger Ordnance Tactical Latch installed on the charging handle. I have the original stock latch and will supply it separately or installed on the charging handle.
