I had bought a Safariland 6354DO to use with my 23 with RMR and APLc light. After getting all the pieces together, this holster is just too big for carrying concealed, not to mention that it doesn't offer a snug fit for the gun (LOTS of movement). I played with it for a while but the gun never fell out of the holster, so I believe it's secure but there's just too much play in it for my liking. So now I'm looking for something else.
I like Safariland's ALS system but they don't seem to make anything else that will work. Here's some factors to consider:
The RMR will be coming off, so that doesn't have to be factored in
I've tried a Kydex holster or 2 in the past but didn't like them much
OWB carry, no IWB
Must accommodate the APLc light
I prefer a paddle over belt loops
Is there anything that fits my wants/needs?
