That sucker is HEAVY, and fat...

It isn't free floating, so IMHO it's a downgrade from the stock handguards. The only thing you gain (besides weight, and girth) is the rails.

If you can't afford $300 for a rail, get the VTAC for $150... Lightweight, free-floating, and you can put stuff where you want too...
