LCP 2 FTE

Got it when it first came out months ago. 500 FMJ (Perfecta = great performance for the $ and the bulk of what I've shot, Rem UMC, Maxx Tech, and the last I don't recommend - Monarch = lots of un burnt powder blowing back through the top of the chamber) rounds later and I'm getting FTE's.

Specifically from Hornady American Gunner 90 gr. XTP.

Only shot 50 rds of it but had 4 of the same malfunctions. The spent case sits either fully in the chamber (last rd) or half way resulting in an additional FTF. Even switched back to Perfecta to see how much limp wrist it would take for a similar event. There is a difference but not a night and day one. Been rotating the same 3 mags so I know they are good.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I would detail clean it and if it continues, contact the manufacturer.

I bought one when they came out and had issues as well with FTEs and the takedown pin walking. After a trip back to the factory still had issues so I dumped it.
New Rugers always get recalled, seems manufacturers have gone to customer beta testing.
Now my Glock 42 is like a top. Its a C hair bigger but shoots so much better.
