View Full Version : Extreme Force Lube
Anyone have any experience with this?

I have not, although after looking at the MSDS it is petroleum based whereas most of the more popular lubes are totally synthectic, e.g. SLP2000 EWL

I do like those needle caps, though.
I know there are a lot of threads on lube, and ARs run on just about anything. I had never heard of this one and wondered if anyone else had.
The claim that it penetrates metal is enough for me not to buy it! Extreme BS.
I'm going to get some for my minigun.......it says you can you can put it on miniguns. Miniguns are definitely extreme force projectors!!!!
Surely they were planning to market it to prisons when they decided on a name.
It's just lube. Everyone claims to be revolutionary, but they're not. Some are better than others, but it's not a huge difference.
They all work, just know the point (round interval, dependent on foreign rate.) where they need reapplied, that's the major difference. Oh, and some are better for long-term storage.
Good. This industry has needed another gun oil option for some time now.
My buddy who is a Corrections Officer says they have jug dispensers of this stuff in the prison showers, I would prefer not to have to use this stuff myself :-P

There must be money to be made in this stuff ...
Put some new voodoo concoction in a snazzy bottle, get some operator to endorse as 'battlefield proven' and off you go
I never got the magic snake gun oil voodoo bit. I remember hearing an interview with a retired NASCAR crew chief who was asked about oil type, preference, etc... His answer was " There are only two things to know about oil and your motor. One, have oil in it. Two, change it frequently ". I feel the same way about gun oil. IMHO.

What's wrong with a lube meant for penetration and Extreme Force...?
If it helps with friction, and makes the day easier, then the two of us (the gun and I) can stay out longer because of it, then I'm all for it.
It's just the clean up I hate...
Ok I'm done, I'll see myself out.

"Penetrates metal" is just puffery ... water penetrates metal
It's a matter of degree.

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but I did it once in a pinch, it goes rancid real fast after shooting and gets gummy as hell.
