I got some Magtech 77 OTM recently and it feels and shoots differently than earlier versions. Lot CBC 036/16. The powder is listed as EI-Niesen 110. It chrono'd 2426 from my DD 10.75" w/suppressor as compared to IMI which was 2391. The Magtech was noticeably softer recoiling, though, and failed to lock back on empty. This gun reliably runs Wolf Gold, and any other 5.56 ammo I've tried. Accuracy, at about 1.75" 10rd groups @ 100yds was not as good as IMI or previous Magtech 77.

It's interesting how it feels so soft and cycles slow, yet has higher velocity. I plan to test this in other guns and longer barrels. I'm interested in others' experience shooting this ammo/powder.

That is odd.

All of mine is 024/15, powder WC 732. It got 2672 from a 16" tOBR. Never an issue and I'd say the average of all of the 5-shot grounds hovers around .75-.85 MOA.

Update: 11.5" Griffin SS barrel; 2449fps, reliable function, softer feel than IMI at 2437 from same barrel.

Another update: Colt 14.5" barrel, 2622fps Magtech vs 2602 for IMI, running non-suppressed, and bolt doesn't lock back. 40% ejects but fails to pick up a new round... I'm not sure wtf...
Wolf Gold, LC M193, ADI 69SMK, and Geco 223 55FMJ all lock back in this gun, so I'm at a loss. Factory gas port size, cut down FSP, carbine-length gas system. Accuracy about 1.5" 10 shot group @ 100.
I'm open to theories.
