Does anyone know what time frame these were used at colt like circa 2009-2013 maybe? Reason I ask was i have a SP6920 that came with one and i normally see them on the first 6940's that came out, 6940p's and some older 6920's.

Thanks

I have a 6940 I consider a Frankenstein. I bought it new about a year ago. Has the Rodgers stock, Matech rear sight, and the steel insert in the lower receiver. It should have none of those things.

My 6920 from 2009 came with one. This was also the version with carry handle and 2 20 round magazines.

I bought a 6920 from Walmart in 2012 that had the Rogers Super-Stoc, 20rd Colt/NHMTG Mags, and removable carry handle rear sight.

Same with me.

Thanks for the feedback, so basically they haven't came on any new rifles since around 2013-2014? Also does anyone know when colt switched over to having P&S products making there standard M4 stock. As far as I can tell it was around the same time that they started putting the dot matrix on the lower receivers, which I think was around late 2015 early 2016.
