The knurled thumb knob is set at the right torque spec to grab your rail with return to zero repeatability- without damaging the rail- snap it 3x and you’re done! You can remove the AR15 spacer for lower mounting on Shotgun and Rifle. Remove the ring for direct mounting of the Comp M4.
